Assignment: Jesus and Muhammad Paper
Submit a 1250-1500 word paper in which you discuss the lives of Jesus and Muhammad and their impact in relation to each respective religion. This is NOT a compare/contrast paper but an objective discussion of the life and teachings of Jesus and Muhammad using academic sources. The paper should be formatted following APA guidelines (References and Citations are required to avoid plagiarism). Be sure to complete the following steps in your paper:
• Trace the lives of Jesus and Muhammad historically.
Details help. Add historical dates (See Fisher, 2014, Chapters on Islam and Christianity for historical timeline). Offer highlights - particularly birth, recognition, etc.
• Explain the major events in the life of Jesus and Muhammad (events during their life and ministry)
Explain the main events occurred during their ministry, for example, miracles, teachings etc.
• Explain what impact the death of each person had on his respective religion.
What happened when they died? Did the followers keep going? Hide? Split? Fight?
• Explain how their messages are being carried out in the world today.
