In terms of skills that employers are looking for "by far, the one skill mentioned most often by employers is the ability to listen, write, and speak effectively. Successful communication is critical in business." (Hansen & Hansen, 2015). You will be recording a speech later in this course. For this assignment you will discuss how you feel about public speaking.
Write 200 to 300 words that answer the following:
- How do you feel about public speaking?
- If you have communication anxiety which of the following approaches do you think will assist you to deal with your anxiety? Emotional reframing, self-monitoring, or controlling physical responses.
- If you are comfortable with public speaking provide advice to your classmates who have communication anxiety.
