Calibration Radiation Survey and Monitoring Instruments
To provide calibrate survey meters and dosemeters in fields ranging from 0.048 mSv/hr to over 50 mSv/hr by using 60Co and 137Cs gamma soruces. In addition, calibrating the survey meter by X-ray source up to 320 KeV. Verification for neutron detectors using a fully characterized AmBe source can be performed; especially, proportional detectors and scintillator detectors. Also, irradiate TLD card dosimeter for test of quality control and quality assurance (QC/AQ) can be tested. The laboratory is recognized as member of the IAEA/WHO Network of SSDLs.
