Aim of the research-

The aim of this research is to study on the impact of adopted global expansion strategies on the brand image of product portfolio, in the case of LV and Goyard.

Objectives of the study:

  • Discussing the concept of brand image and its significance in the luxurious goods business
  • Describing the various global expansion strategies that are at the disposal of Louis Vuitton and Goyard in marketing their brands
  • Exploring the global expansion of luxurious products within the context of Louis Vuitton and Goyard;
  • Outlining the influence of expansion of luxurious products on the image of brands of Louis Vuitton and Goyard products;
  • Discussing the theoretical models of global expansion of luxurious goods and how they have been adopted by Louis Vuitton and Goyard in their operations

Research questions-

i. How does global or transnational expansion influence brand image of LV and Goyard luxury products?

ii. What is the effect of global or transnational expansion on the brand of products of LV and Goyard?

iii. How does global expansion influence brand positioning of the luxury products of LV and Goyard?
