After this week you should be able to explain how a well-defined scope baseline is created. In addition you should understand the value in creating a well-defined scope baseline.
In addition for this particular case you should understand the importance of change control and how change control is used to manage scope creep. One of the most important responsibilities of the project manage is to manage the scope baseline once it is create. In the perfect world or in best practice the scope baseline should only change when a formal change request has been approved. If there is no formal change request approval then the change should not be considered or implemented.
