Leadership Template (Discussion Questions)
Purpose: This template is a great way to begin thinking about your own personal philosophy on leadership.
1. Read, beginning on p. 403 - 406, the section titled: Leadership Decisions for Your Leadership Model
2. Complete the “Leadership Template” below as though you are talking about a place you were leading – what would it look like? How would you explain your beliefs based on the categories in the leadership template?
3. Envision the type of organization that you would like to lead, this will help you answer the questions.
4. Thoroughly answer each section using information you have learned in the course. Feel free to use personal experiences, if appropriate, to expand on the information.
5. Your template needs to be in 12 pt. font or equivalent; double-spaced; and demonstrate correct grammar and spelling. IF you quote from the text or any other materials, you must give credit. This is an opinion paper so no other APA format is required.

I. Vision of your leadership system (what will it look like?)
II. What leadership style/s would you use to lead your organization?
III. Values of your leadership system (what values will you establish for your system, and why?)
IV. Organizational culture (based on your vision and values, how do you envision the culture in your organization?)
V. Organizational strategies; goals, etc. (what would a Strategic Plan look like in your organization?)
