Some of those ways are to ensure you are not trying to read someone’s mind on a specific situation or topic, ask another person if what you are perceiving is accurate and compare your thoughts with his/hers, and know the difference between the facts of a situation and the what is really going on behind the physical things you can see or hear.
Your perceptions can be accurate by knowing how different age groups see things such as music, clothing styles and how to spend money and also by knowing that different beliefs will affect how someone lives or does not live his/her life. I believe that another element that is important for having your perceptions accurate is the type of social groups that are out there. Many people see rich people as snobby and unsociable. Each person is different and not all rich people are snobby or know it all’s. On the other hand, not all poor people are lazy. Sit down, talk to other social groups and understand how they ended up being average or above average before you assume one thing.
