This project based on the price of a stock, and bond characteristics.
Your company is Allstate, and you will have to do research on the company.
For this make-up, please find historical data on Allstate stock from about 5 years ago. Choose January 1st, 2013. For this time, also find all the factors that figure into predicting the stock price. These are highlighted in the text. If the dividend isn't constant over the prior year, then make some reasonable assumptions, but predict the stock price on January 1st, 2018.
Use the current stock price of Allstate to compare your results, and find any reasons that might explain why your calculation differs from today's stock price. Do not only use Allstate websites.
Provide all the references you used for your data, show all your equations and calculations, and give a detailed description of your conclusions, backed up by research.
Look at the current Balance Sheet for Allstate. Describe the long-term debt of the company. What comprises the long-term debt? Did Allstate sell any bonds? If so, take the largest contribution to debt and look up the YTM of this debt instrument.
