This is purpose of statement for master degree. We would like some feedback about it and correct for grammatical mistakes if possible.
Statement for master degree:
As I sat down watching people being obsessed withthe old Nokia Snake Game, I found myself developing ideas and adding features to make a better version of it.It was at that moment that I discovered my passion for computers.As Iwatched technologycontinue to become more sophisticated,I became determined to be a part of that world. The process of taking set of technology and turning it into user experience has always fascinated me. For that reason, I chose to be a software engineer. I want to build real products andthe fastest networks to solve persons need.I want to invent a reliable tools that can be the key ingredients to asset a talented artisans forming a positive and successful workshop.
While completing my bachelor's degree,I was exposed to various programing languages and applications that enabledme to implement, design,analyze, and testsoftware systems. I have also worked on critical problem solving for various platforms such as Linux and Unix.I have planned, developed and implemented successful large-scale projects from conception to completion. One of my biggest achievements was developing a tourist website named "Discover SA" as my graduation projectfor my bachelor's degree. The website provides information about Saudi Arabian culture, as well as information about the country as a tourist destination.I created this website using UML, SDLC concept,object oriented programming C++ and Java.
Working on my graduation project made me eager to apply my knowledge into real life experience. I began working as a communication assistant at Saudi Aramco, one of the leading oil companies in Saudi Arabia. I started by assigning IP addresses to Aramco devices by a program called CRMand, by the time I understood the work, I became familiar with many appliances such as aggregator, sniffer and server. I worked with vendors to develop the Aramco networking infrastructures and managed the company's traffic by using sniffers and tools to upgrade the system.
Self-educationhas always been a significantway for me,but since software engineeringis a fast growing field, I decided to further my professional goals and pursue my master's degree in Software Engineering. Drexel University has an adaptable curriculum that can suite students choice and, as a software engineer who is interested in designing and implementing software systems such as social media, google maps and google drive, that could benefit me.With the great diversity in this university,I can benefit from it and be able to incorporate and be useful in group work, to build something that can matter. Drexel Provost Dr. Mark L. Greenberg ,it's the first university to use a program which is a mix of a highly respectful ischool and library that incorporate with a computer and security technology curriculum.
My ultimate goalsare having a job at Google as a front-end engineer ,and with the help of Drexel's co-op program and my master's degree, I will reach my dreams. Creating woman voice in this field will encourage woman to seek out high-powered technical work, mentoring and supporting hundreds of eagerness and willingness engineers to make things that matters for future generation to prove upon.
