This assignment is intended to give you experience researching technological trends, as this is an important step when planning the direction of your organization and although you may not be required to conduct this research in your employment setting, understanding the process is very important. An example of a technology trend is outsourcing.
Select an organization and write a paper where you propose two technology trends and interpret the effect of these trends on an organization's technology strategies. Show how the trends are relevant to at least two prevalent organizational theories. Assess both the benefits and drawbacks to the two additional technology trends that you have proposed on your organization. Compare and contrast the relations between technology implementation and the organization's vision and culture.
Support your paper with a minimum of five (5) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included.
Length: 6-7 pages not including title and reference pages
Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
