This assessment will allow you the opportunity to choose two areas of Human Resource Management that you are interested in, and conduct an in-depth analysis to address specific components within each area.

You will select 2 areas from the case linked below and comprehensively answer the questions in your selected sections.  Your paper must follow APA formatting.

NOTE:  You do NOT need to create a 20-minute presentation- this is excluded from the assignment requirements. You will choose any 2 of the following areas for your analysis (from the case study):

  • Part 2:  Developing the Recruitment and Retention Plan
  • Part 3:  Developing a Compensation Plan
  • Part 4:  Developing a Human Resources Development Plan
  • Part 5:  Developing the HR Forecast

Even though this is not a scientific-type writing assignment, and is mostly creative in nature, references are still very important. At least four authoritative (2 per topical area), outside references are required (anonymous authors or web pages are not acceptable). These should be listed on the last page titled "Works Cited".Appropriate citations are required - APA standards.Papers must be 6-8 pages in length, plus a title page and Works Cited. Papers are due on Sunday of Week 4 of this course.This paper is worth 400 total points and will be graded on quality of research topic, quality of paper information, use of citations, grammar, and sentence structure.
