Think of attempting to get a copy of your medical records. Be able to discuss how this goes for you. You may want to arm yourself with some HIPAA knowledge before you start this process. Were you able to get the copy? Was the process easy and straightforward? Can you get a copy for yourself? Can you only get a paper copy or can you get a digital copy? Can you get copies of the records of your relatives or those you care for (i.e. spouses and children)?
