Therefore i want to make sure you tracked the bill from it

Students are to visit the Utah State Legislative Website, pick one health related bill of interest to follow throughout the legislative session (The session begins on January 25th and goes through March 10th). Students will be required to check in on that bill each week and fill out the bill tracker form (located on CIS) about the status of the bill. After the completion of the legislative session, students will write up a description of no more than 2 pages about the bill, what their personal position was on the bill, and the status of the bill by the end of the session. Some of you may find that your bill dies early or never really gets a fair hearing. What does that teach you about the legislative process? Submit the 2 page review and the completed bill tracker online to CIS
Tracked bill throughout session/life of bill (bills don't always pass.

therefore, I want to make sure you tracked the bill from it being made public, to the last place it ended up. Sometimes that's a long time, sometimes that's a short week or two. Just show us that you followed the bill from when it was public to the last place it ended up. If the bill died shortly, what does that teach you about our legislative process?)
Submitted no more than 2-pages
Understood and articulated what the bill set out to accomplished
Student articulated the position the student took on the bill (This is the subjective position the student took on the piece of legislation by the end of the session. Did the student support the bill? oppose the bill? or remain neutral on the bill?)
Student understood and articulated status of bill at the end of session (did it pass and get sent to Gov.'s desk?

did it fail?

did it go to interim?

etc.)
