There are things we know that we know things we know that

There are things we know that we know, things we know that we don't know, things that we don't know that we know, and things that we don't know that we don't know. The latter is a difficult concept for many, I've found, but it's relevant diagnostically.

This is most clearly the case with dissociative disorders, where there's a very good chance that the client would not have the recollection or clear information to provide you point by point with what their symptoms are for diagnosis.

For this week, discuss how you might go about achieving a diagnosis of each of the dissociative disorders if the client is not well aware of their dissociations. Also, what are some other situations where the client's not knowing about their symptoms might present a problem in diagnosing?

please respond with one page.
