Discussion: Political Power or Good Government
There are critics who believe that some elected officials are reluctant to part with home rule because they give up too much political power. Others believe that communities should have the absolute right to completely control all of their own operations and destiny at all times. In your opinion, is this a "power" issue or really an issue about "good government" and doing what is right for a community?
