Problem: Job Analysis Activity/Assignment
Part I: Please visit the O*Net web site and select two of the following job descriptions: Human Resources Manager, Commercial Truck Driver, Registered Nurse, Biomedical Engineer, Accountant, or Secondary School Teacher. After selecting the job descriptions, please answer the following questions for each of the two job descriptions.
Job title of jobs being analyzed: 1. How would you recommend gathering information to update this job description? Specifically, what data sources and data collection methods do you recommend? Explain why you chose those sources and methods.

2. There are 10 tasks listed on the job summary report. Write the specific task statements in the table below in order of importance. For each task/dimension, indicate the percentage of time spent on that function. The total must add to 100%.
Part II: For each task named in part one, rate its importance to overall job performance using Likert Scale from 1 to 5. The number 1 meaning the task is of minor importance, and the number 5 meaning the task is of major importance.
Write the specific task statements in the table below, and enter the level of importance using any number between 1 and 5. In the last column, provide justification for your rating.
Part III: Using your responses to part 2, identify essential and nonessential job functions for this job.
Part IV: Review the abilities required to perform this job. Place the number of each task in the appropriate abilities category. A particular task can be classified in more than one category. Add the number of tasks in each category. What is the dominant type of ability needed to perform this job? Identify specific skills needed to perform major tasks.
Part V: The last page of the assignment should be reference page in APA format.
