First, for yourself write descriptions of how you identify with the following list of identities. Identifying several aspects for each. For example, for your family identity you may include sibling, son/daughter, family cook etc.

- Occupation
- Gender
- Sexual Orientation
- Race
- Ethnicity
Then, in a short one-page response discuss how your identities influence how others communicate with you. How you feel when others do or do not affirm your identity. Finally, how errors in perception of identity can cause miscommunication.
