The way someone chooses to live their lifestyle is

Tell me your opinion on these in a paragraph

Your view about how an individual's health is determined.

I believe an individual's health is determined on their lifestyle. The way someone chooses to live their lifestyle is definitely a big part on what they digest in their body which is why I support theory Y. Someone who smokes will probably be more acceptable to having lung cancer than someone who does not smoke. A heavy drinker will probably get Cirrhosis of the liver than a non drinker.

Your view of medical practice.

I would have to say I agree with Theory X and Theory Y because not every treatment for a patient is the best option. Medicine is a science and scientist must break down elements to help treat patients, but not every treatment works with each diagnoses. Some treatments might make one individual sick and the same treatment can make their symptoms disappear.

Your view of medical care.

I agree with Theory X while medical care is unique commodity. Medical care is a necessity not a luxury. Medical care is not to offer as a good or service such as health insurance companies try to expose. "Health insurance carriers are businesses that need to cover their expenditures." (Teitelbaum, (2017), p. 142) They extort patients by purchasing health insurance to use as a service to receive health care when in reality it is a commodity not a regular service.

Your view of the government's role in health care.

I would say I agree with Theory X "Government regulations are necessary to protect this unique commodity, to control profiteering at the cost of patient care, to control the resources spent on health care, and to improve information sharing." Teitelbaum, (2017), p. 159) I agree the government does need to put regulations because medical care is a commodity and if the government was not regulating this it would be a disaster. Medical care would be outrageously expensive (even more costly than it is today). Medical records might not be controlled under HIPAA and the patient might be taken advantaged of with the profit margin.
