The water in a nuclear reactor both bwr and pwr is heated

Explain the solution of given problem

Problem- The water in a nuclear reactor (both BWR and PWR) is heated in a manner similar to an immersion heater in a cup of water. Instead of electricity generating the heat, nuclear fission is producing it.

Part 1- If you could see inside the fuel rod during operation, does it glow in the visible region?

Part 2- If not, how much hotter would it have to get to do that? If so, what would be the color?

I need assistant to explain does fuel road glow in the visible region.
