The voltages at the generators buses are maintained at a

Two generators are interconnected through a transmission line. The voltages at the generators buses are maintained at a magnitude of 1.0pu. The generator one (G1) is connected to bus 1. The generator two (G2) is connected to bus 2. The bus angle at bus 2 is taken as reference and is 00. The generator (G1) can generate a maximum real power of 20pu. The demand( or load) at these generator buses are :

SD1= (15+j5) p.u ; SD2=(25+j15) pu

The transmission line is modeled as pure reactance of value j0.05pu.

i) Find the bus angle at bus 1.

ii) Find the current through the transmission line

iii) Find the real(P12)and reactive power(Q12) injected into the line at bus 1

iv) Find the real and reactive power loss in the line

v) Find the total real and reactive power supplied by the generator1

vi) What is the power factor of generator 1?

vii) What is the real and reactive power supplied by the generator 2.

viii) What is the power factor of generator 2?
