It seems we have noticed many of the same rhetorical devices while reading Dr. Kings speech. His speech was littered with many anaphora's that would drive home the message he was trying to convey. "I have a dream" was a major one, but I also noticed he used "Let freedom ring" just as much to solidify his point.
Sadly Dr. King's dream in our current country's climate would sadden him. The vast majority of protest are now violent and people are being judged purely by the color of their skin and not by the content of their character. How far will we regress?
