What about the use of film type (black and white vs. color) in Memento? Does this offer a clearer picture, as Dytrick suggests? Does the black and white do a better (or worse or equal) job of helping viewers better understand the story and Leonard's plight?
Additionally, what about the reverse order of the plot? What in particular might make this a visual approach to understanding Leonard's memory loss?
