The us bureau of labor statistics bls collects unemployment

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) collects unemployment and labor force participation data for a variety of groups of Americans (by age, gender, race, level of education, location, etc.). This data is available https://www.bls.gov. (You can find lots of specific data by looking at the bottom right side of the BLS homepage under the heading Latest Numbers, then clicking on the table icon to the right of the Unemployment Rate. This link will take you to a page with lots of links to detailed information. For example, the links to Table A-2 send you to unemployment data sorted by age, sex, and race.)

For this discussion, you should create a post which demonstrates the difference in the unemployment rate or labor force participation rate between two groups of Americans (which groups you choose it up to you). The data you present should come from the BLS website. Once you present that unemployment data, discuss why you think that difference exists.

In your response posts, please make suggestions for what could have caused the differences outlined in the post to which you are responding
