The United States has laws to help protect the environment. These laws are enforced by the Environmental Protection Agency. Research environmental laws. Find one that you think is beneficial for the species or natural area you are researching for your portfolio project. In your post, discuss the law, what led to its creation, and what it intends to protect. Then describe how you think it is beneficial for your species of natural area. How would it have impacted your species or natural area if the law were never put in place?
