The two plates of a parallel plate capacitor are 58 mm

The two plates of a parallel plate capacitor are 5.8 mm apart and have a potential difference between the of 220 V. Let the negative plate be at zero potential. An electron is released from rest at the negative plate.

(a) Find the magnitude of the electric field between the plates.

(b) What is the direction of the electric field between the plates?

(c) Find the change in electrical potential energy (in electron volts) of the electron as it travels from the negative to the positive plate.

(d) What is the kinetic energy of the electron (in electron volts) just before it hits the positive plate?
