The title of the research question is:
1. To investigate and research on a business organization of your interests.
2. To identify the scope of their business strategy, within the context of any business organization based in Singapore.
3. The area of focus will be as follows:
a. The organisation's business mission, vision and goals.
b. Environmental scanning - using PESTEL analysis.
c. Perform a TIOWS matrix.
d. Review the organisation product, market and general strategies
e. Draw a conclusion on their present strategies and strategic options.
e. Propose recommended strategies for implementation.
Scope :
The assignment should include:
1. a brief introduction of the organisation, nature of its business and its present situations and conditions.
2. a clear explanation of their mission, vision and goals, an evaluation of the environment using the PESTEL analysis & application of the theory to your field research,
3. a report on the organisation's product, market and current strategies, and any critical changes your recommendations for the future development strategies of the organisation based on your research findings, an evaluation of your learning using and applying strategic theory.
The Harvard System must be used for referencing, and a complete bibliography should be included. The assignment should be approximately 3500 words in length, word-processed on single-sheet A4 paper with page numbers and stapled.
