Best Self and Common Sense Tests The textbook discusses several tests conducting business within an ethical framework and we talked about a variety of ethical tests in class. However, some ethical theorists say that a manager should go with their “gut feeling” when making a decision. With this in mind, what is the difference between the “one’s best self” test and “common sense” test as compared to the “gut feeling” test? Could Adam Grant’s proposition on “giving” be translated into an ethical test? If so, then how would you translate it? If not, then why does it not translate?
