Generally, the study of ethics is rooted into two major categories: (1) duty-based ethics (which may be derived from religious principles, Kantian ethics, or the 'Principle of Rights'); and (2) outcome-based ethics (also called Utilitarianism).  Which of the two major categories of the study of ethics resonates with you and why?
