TV and athletics. Using a simple random sample, a student asked 200 students questions about their study and workout habits, and received 124 responses. One of the questions asked, "Do you participate in intramural (IM) athletics, varsity athletics, or no athletics?" while the second asked, "How many hours of television did you watch last week?"
