The space shuttle in a 300km high orbit needs to perform

The space shuttle, in a 300km high orbit needs to perform anexperiment that has to take place well away from the spacecraft. Todo so, a 100kg payload is lowered toward the earth on a 10km longmassless rope. The payload can be hauled back on board the shuttleafter the experiment. Assume that any initial motions associatedwith lowering the payload have damped out and the shuttle andpayload are flying in steady state conditions

a) what is the angle of the rope as measured from a line drawn fromthe center of the earth though the payload? explain
