The research will try to help to understand the negative long term effects of cyberbullying in adolescents. Adolescents can be affected in different areas such as self-esteem, performance at school, substance abuse, sexual intimidation and relationships with friends and family.

The Study Design

"The aim of the study was to examine the effect of adolescents exposure to media portraying antisocial and risk behavior on cyberbullying behavior over time." (Hamer, & Konijin, 2015)
