Need help on creating a business plan. It's a group work. But I need help only on my individual part (The Process - 10-12 pages).

This assignment focuses on the increasingly important role that accountants as consultants play in the effective management of businesses in a constantly changing environment. The requirement to produce a comprehensive business plan for a client is designed to focus on and build your

  • understanding of the kinds of problems encountered by local businesses and organisations (for example, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), government or not for profit organisations) and the symptoms that will be apparent in their accounts and/or become apparent in their forecasts;
  • ability to analyse and solve various business problems using a case study approach;
  • ability to develop detailed and overarching financial and strategic plans for small business;
  • ability to integrate relevant previous learning in areas such as financial accounting, management accounting, management, marketing, economics, finance, information systems, and law;
  • extend report writing and verbal communication skills and your ability to engage professionally as an accountant;
  • develop a foundation of ethical thinking in commercial engagements;
  • understanding of the role an accountant plays as a consultant to business.

Individual part - The Process

  • Broad analysis of processes from mission, vision, main goals and strategies (egs: supplies, Sales, service, comply with health and safety regulations, HRM, BAS Preparation). Name and describe each process.
  • Table of identified processes and compliance requirements and consistent with any in depth coverage in other individual components.
  • Documented primary and secondary research of work flows and activities associated with processes identified where possible
  • Process/activity analysis and flow charts: Business model and layout of premises including equipment, staff duties.
  • Design of all required documents such as tax invoices, cash receipts, etc and records such as wages (covering awards, ATO and superannuation compliance); and link to accounting system document flowchart (below)
  • Prepare detailed process maps. Show where processes connect. Link to above analyses.
  • Pinpoint and explain hazard-based risks evident from the process maps. Link to compliance and management
  • Document (soft and hard) flowchart of accounting system including internal control descriptions.
