Perceptions of ACL rehabilitation and return to sport in regards to the athlete, strength and condition coach and physiotherapist.
The purpose of this study is obtaining undiscovered perceptions of strength and conditioning coaches (S&C) and physiotherapists', on what defines a successful return to sport following an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury. There is a severe lack of evidence in the integration of S&C principles into a physiotherapy rehabilitation programme for an athlete with an ACL injury (Reiman and Lorenz 2011).
