The pump graphs are given to us and im asked to determine

design a pump system with certain requirments. The water is sucked into a standard pump, travels through a series of pipes, and shoots out the other end. The pump graphs are given to us, and I'm asked to determine possible lengths and diameters of the pipe to meet two requirments. The system can have multiple outputs in order to satisfy the needs, but they must be occuring at the same time. If the flow rate Q needs to be 8 gallons per minute and the water needs to shoot a distance of 30ft, how do I find velocity of the water? Is velocity even something I should solving for?
