The crank OA of the engine mechanism shown in Figure rotates clockwise at a speed of 3000 rpm. The length of the crank is 200 mm and the length of the connecting rod AB is 500 mm.
The point C on the connecting rod is 200 mm from the crankpin at A. At the position shown determine (a) the velocity of the piston, (b) the velocity of the point C and (c) the angular velocity of the connecting rod.
