Planning, managing, and controlling are the key components. A breakdown in any area could lead to the demise of an organization. Initial Post Instructions Consider this Decision Making model (found in each chapter) and how it relates to your current or past organization, or an organization with which you are familiar.

Describe the procedures related to planning, managing, and controlling.
At what level(s) are these functions initiated?
How is the feedback communicated?
How are changes implemented based upon the data?
Do the people who are responsible for outcomes also have control of the cost factors?
