Rephase the following statement:

Objection

The objection when we apply the theory of utilitarianism is that we are not making a decision that will positively affect the greatest amount of people. This is where consequentialism addressed because they consequences of the actions of the patient choosing to die is not creating the greatest amount of good for everyone involved. It is not taking in consideration how their decision is going to affect their spouse, children, or other family members. Also, if it is made legal for someone to chose to end their own life there is no way to be clear that the decisions is being made with the patient being of sound mind, it also opens the door for people who are not physical sick to chose to end their lives. The latter complicates the Hippocratic Oath doctors have taken because they are no longer doing the greatest amount of good, now the taking of someone's life is not ending physical suffering. Consequentialism theory also applies because by making assisted suicide legal it opens the door for others to abuse it. The morality of killing changes because it is no longer helping improve the quality of a persons last remaining days, it is plainly suicide which is seen as wrong by society.
