The National Snow and Ice Data Center collects information on glaciers from around the world. Some of the parameters include the number of basins, the mean depth, and the primary class. A random sample of glaciers in Western Europe was obtained, and the total area (in square kilometers) of each was recorded.22
a. Use the Kruskal-Wallis test with a = 0.05 to test the hypothesis that all four glacier-area populations are identical. Assume the underlying populations are continuous.
