The Islamic faith established by Prophet Muhammad were based on five pillars. These Five Pillars were connected with the day today life of a Muslim. They are testimony of faith, prayer, giving zakat, fasting during the time of Ramadan, and pilgrimage to Mecca. The other main religions originated in the same area are Judaism and Christianity. Judaism came even before the origin of Islam. These three religions have monotheistic beliefs and share same traditions.

Islamic faith originated from one person while Judaism received revelation as a nation. Islam believed in forced religious conversions. After the death of Prophet Muhammad, Islam spread as a result of conquest. Islam believed in Allah and their sacred book was Quran while two religions have different gods and sacred books. Jews believed in Yahweh and their sacred book was Torah. Christians on other hand believed in Bible and Trinity (God the Father, son and Holy Spirit). Later, Islam spread to other regions of world such as Africa, Europe, and West Asia as result of conquest and trade.
