The Innocence Project Organization perform a significant act in aiding innocent people who are imprisoned in an unfair way that goes against the spirit of United States Constitution due to lack of DNA application leading to the wrongful convictions. The organization was founded in 1992 by Peter Neufeld together with Barry Scheck. The Innocence Project Organization played an important role in the case of Kirk Bloodsworth that begun in 1984. Bloodsworth was arrested for the rape and murder of a girl of nine years old .The jury took only three hours in their deliberation of the case and found him culpable and thus sentenced to death. After nine years in prison, I believe Bloodsworth is innocence due to, the defiance of no physical evidence, DNA results proved his innocence, and proof of his presence at the crime scene.
