Write a two pages summary
Do this task by viewing a government meeting or hearing. This could include watching a Congressional hearing on CSPAN, a state legislative hearing or forum on the California Channel (available to Comcastsubscribers), or watching or attending a local government meeting such as a city council meeting or a county board of supervisors meeting (these can be watched by cable subscribers or online at https://www.calchannel.com/). You should watch for about 2 hours to get a good sense of the meeting. Try to pick one that will be interesting to you.
To complete the assignment you need to post an initial response. The Initial Response should summarize the meeting and what was talked about and then provide your thoughts on the meeting (similar to your newspaper response assignments). You should mention the meeting you watched, the subject, and the date when you summarize it in your posting.
