Question: The human resource department in your organization plans to conduct a survey to discover the attitudes of recent employees who filed grievances to the way the department managers have handled their initial problem.
The aims of the survey are to:
a) measure employees in XYZ organization perceptions of the action steps taken by the department managers to address the initial problem,
b) reveal whether the employees filing the grievance believe department managers are collecting appropriate information regarding the problem, and
c) evaluate whether the employees filing grievances feel they are receiving appropriate support from the department managers.
The questionnaire is being sent to 50% of the employees who filed a grievance within the last ten years of the organization due to logistical and financial reasons.
