Wendy, I am totally agree with you that nurses who has BSN degree would provide more better patient outcomes than the nurses with ADN.
The higher education nurses would think and make critical decision better than the ADN nurses. Since medical technology is rapidly growing, nurses need to have higher skills to achieve better outcomes.
According to American Nurse Association, nurses with BSN degree reduces the significant event in medical field that includes lower the mortality rates, lower the failure to resue, and reduce the death ratio.
To earn higher degree or education always help to advance knowledge and provide excellent care to the patient.
I also think that BSN nurses feel more confident, and play great role in leadership.
