The growth in communication has led to an interesting

The growth in communication has led to an interesting happening that I never had to worry about when I was a kid. These days you have social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, etc. and they allow anybody to voice any opinion on them and it instantly goes public. The speed at which a message can travel to hundreds of thousands of people is unprecedented. It is not a requirement for a user to be mature enough not to say something that misrepresents them in some way. Some people in certain positions have gotten in a lot of trouble for posting things publicly that they could have gotten away with in the past but it no longer gets a pass nowadays because there is a written record of it. For example in the military, certain political stances are not supposed to be said publicly but yet people put out stuff like that all the time and if a superior sees it that means there is consequences. Do you think having this technology will make kids grow up faster learning how to act with social media giving light to areas in life that really no one knew about 15 years ago?
