Instructions:
The focus is to examine risk management in Norwegian oil and gas industry with the case study of Statoil.
Data will be collected through survey questionnaires. The dissertation words count is between 15,500 plus.
The aim and objectives of the research is to examine the risk management practices in oil and gas onshore and offshore industry in Norway with Statoil as case study.
The specific objectives of the research are:
- To bring up a credible and reliable suggestions that will highly benefit the company overall risk management contingent.
- To share a new light on how risk management should be prioritized among oil and gas industry.
- To conduct survey among Statoil's current and former employees if possible regarding the company's past risk management policies.
Research Questions
In order to achieve the specific research objectives, the following research questions will be addressed
- What are the significant of modern technology to risk management in the Norwegian oil and gas industry?
- What are the current and future risk management issues the company is facing?
- What kind of risk management policies and strategies adopted by Statoil?
With regard to methodology, quantitative is preferred and data analysis through survey approach quantitatively.
