As Canada's largest private-sector union with a strong history of activism, UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers) Canada is committed to ensuring that the labour and human rights of Wal-Mart workers in Canada are respected . For over a decade, Wal-Mart workers have tired to improve their lives through collective bargaining.
-The first certification of a Wal-Mart was hailed by labour as a milestone event. Why do you think that was the case?
