For this Assignment, you will begin conducting research for your chosen career field and select supporting sources for your Final Project.
Note: The Final Project is a 6-8 page expository essay on the relationship between your graduate degree and your career field.
For this Assignment:
Conduct a search for relevant articles on the career field from within the KU Library database and official government websites (no .com, .net, or .org websites allowed).
Create an annotated bibliography of 10 sources on your career field, and include a brief summary of each source (1-2 paragraphs each). These summaries must be written entirely in your own words and must not be copied and pasted from the sources or abstracts. Please note: a minimum of five of the resources must come from the KU Library. The other five may come from the KU Library, official government (.gov) websites or university (.edu) websites.
From the bibliography, select the five sources that are the most reliable, current and relevant to your research focus, and explain how you will use them to develop your essay.
