The field size attribute determines the width of the displayed field. The maxlength attribute sets a limit on the maximum number of characters that can be typed in the field (which is different from the viewable width of the field set by size). Refer to IT 202 manual. Use both size and maxlength attributes for each of these fields. The maxlength attribute is not allowed in HTML for textarea.
