Read this account carefully, and then write an essay comparing and contrasting this document with the flood narrative found at Genesis 6:1-9:22. In formulating your thesis statement/main argument, you might think about some of the following questions: In what way(s) are the two accounts similar? How do they differ? Is there a relationship between the two documents? What, from the point of theology, do the two documents tell us about the communities that produced them?
