Detecting Deception
1. On many of the old school detective shows on TV the suspect was often lured into confessing or to provide key information by reacting to the following statements: "I know everything" or "Your buddy just confessed."
2. You're at a crucial job interview and your interviewer begins to open up about his or her personal life, including some "sins" committed on the job.
3. One of former President Bill Clinton's favorite lines was "I feel your pain." Your negotiation adversary has begun this type of talk at a crucial point of the negotiation.
Your assignment should be approximately 1 page in length, and be written in essay format.
